Inner Alchemy Conversations with Liziah Elizabeth | Grief, Grief Tendering, Healing & Transformation
Updated: Oct 27
Grief is not something we simply get over. It is something we learn to live alongside, something that changes us, and sometimes something that opens doors we never expected to walk through.
Join me, Maari Falsetto, founder of Inner Alchemy, Treasures & Transformation in West Seattle, for a heartfelt Inner Alchemy Conversation with Liziah Elizabeth, Grief Tender and a cherished part of the Inner Alchemy community.
Together, we explore grief, loss, healing and transformation, and what it means to make space for the full range of our human experience. We talk about the importance of being witnessed in our grief, allowing ourselves to feel what we feel, and finding compassionate ways to navigate the many forms of loss that touch our lives.
Grief isn't limited to the death of someone we love. We can grieve relationships, identities, dreams, life transitions, the loss of a sense of belonging, and the versions of ourselves we must leave behind. Sometimes grief arrives in waves. Sometimes it sits quietly beneath the surface. And sometimes we don't even recognize it until we give ourselves permission to pause and listen.
As a Grief Tender, Liziah invites us to approach grief with tenderness rather than judgment, making room for the feelings and experiences that so often go unseen in a culture that encourages us to move on and get back to normal.
In this conversation, we explore how community, connection and compassionate presence can help us navigate grief without needing to fix it, rush it or make it look a certain way. What does it mean to be with someone in their grief? How can we honor our own losses? And might there be room for transformation without needing to find a silver lining in our pain?
Whether you're grieving the death of a loved one, navigating a significant life change, supporting someone experiencing loss, or simply wanting to understand grief more deeply, this conversation offers a gentle invitation to feel less alone.
At Inner Alchemy, we believe community is medicine. We don't need to have all the answers or make everything better. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer one another is the space to be heard, held and fully human.
Come as you are. There's room for your grief here.
