What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind when it is particularly open to suggestion. Formal hypnosis, or hypnotherapy, is when this “state of mind” (sometimes experienced as a kind of trance) is induced deliberately, deepened to a powerful level, and then utilized to help clients access and change their subconscious, to help them achieve their goals in life.
The subconscious mind holds the vast majority of our personality and potential. Here is stored all of our memories, including everything we have ever felt, smelled, heard, tasted or dreamed. Hypnosis allows direct access to the subconscious mind. By using relaxation and concentration, we reach a state of exceptional plasticity. Together, we can use the power of your own mind to motivate, overcome, excel, and even experience relief of certain physical symptoms.
We offer two unique types of hypnosis:
Heart Centered Hypnosis
Heart Centered Hypnosis is the process by which a client is placed in to a hypnotic altered state of consciousness in order to access the subconscious mind, and retrieve needed information that is brought back to the waking state of consciousness. Heart Centered Hypnosis allows you to get in touch with your core issues more rapidly, and allows the body to purge pain, sadness, anger, grief or any negative feelings you may have suppressed throughout your life. With Heart Centered Hypnosis you feel lighter, freer, and able to open your heart, and approach your difficulties from a place of self-love and self-acceptance.
Five Phase Advanced Transformational Hypnosis
“5-PATH” is a systematic approach to hypnotherapy. Using the most advanced hypnotic techniques in an evidence-based method, clients are able to achieve profound and lasting change. Through discovery and insight around the root cause of the issue, clients neutralize the emotional energy holding them back and are able to make meaningful, measurable changes. Breaking bad habits, or starting good ones; overcoming trauma or releasing negative feelings; getting over personal blocks or bad relationships, hypnosis can help. Clients typically begin to experience benefits from the first session, and lasting success after four or five sessions.
What to Expect During a session
We schedule a free consultation (20 minutes) with either (or each) of our hypnotherapists to briefly explore the client’s goals, whether hypnosis is the right avenue to take, and how the client feels with the hypnotist.
With Deborah, after the 20 minute free consultation, sessions are 60 or 90 minutes and include a brief recap before and after hypnosis. The client will lay comfortably on a massage table for optimal relaxation.
With Christian, after the initial consultation, each session is an hour and-a-half to two-hours, and takes place seated in a comfortable chair. Few clients require more than five sessions to achieve lasting and profound results.
During the induction process, the client will feel very relaxed. The client will be verbally guided by the hypnotherapist, and will always be aware of what is happening. As a result of deep relaxation and healing, most clients report feeling very light, free and energized at the end of the session, as if they have just completed a good workout at the gym.
